In March 2012 we were awarded the contract to supply all the external and internal signage requirements for this New Build Hospital, through Vinci Construction.
Our total project management approach involves close client contact throughout, this was managed every step of the way from initial consultation meetings with the building contractors, and architects to discuss the design, positioning, size, and the impact of the new signage through to installation.
Full size samples were provided and temporarily installed to make sure that every aspect of the signage was correct and to our customers full satisfaction as well as our customers client.
Substantial detailed drawings and team briefings ensured that the design manufacture and installation of the signs was planned and executed very smoothly on time and as anticipated.
The design of the signage was based on the information given and meetings with our client, working closely with them every step of the way, we also had to take into consideration planning concerns and restrictions.
The main external sign consists of 3D Built Up Halo illuminated letters that result in a stunning display that captures the innovative contemporary design of the new building.
The most challenging aspect was the high-level sign mainly due to its size and position on the building, this was followed through by all the external Way Finding signs that had to comply with planning regulations and the NHS Wirral trust corporate design and logo.
